Looming over the Royal Natal National Park, lies the breathtaking Drakensberg Amphitheatre, measuring more than 5km in lenght and more than 1.2km high. The Tugela Falls, the world’s second tallest falls, plunge over 948 metres from the Amphitheatre’s cliff tops. The amphitheatre is considered the most famous geographic feature of the Northern Drakensberg. Hiking trails are the one of the popular activities to explore this spectacular area.
