FlowGrow Hydroponics (Pty) Ltd is a South African company situated at Crestholme half way between Durban and Pietermaritzburg in the province of KwaZulu Natal. We operate from a small farm, and are also commercial growers of a range of salad and vegetable produce. Our commercial growing operation has enabled us to evaluate and experiment with many of the hydroponic techniques that have been developed. We concluded many years ago that the Gravel Flow Technique was the most practical technique operationally , and that it is also the most efficient nutrient delivery system. Our GFT system now produces most of our output.
Everything grows quickly, plants are of a uniform size, and all are of fantastic quality and taste. The labour requirement for the system is minimal. Many of the people who have seen our system over the years have asked if there was a small domestic version of this marvelous growing system. They wanted to enjoy the benefits of the system without having to construct the system themselves. Until this product there was no ‘off the shelf’ gravel flow system. The ground lay system pictured left is difficult to construct, and requires that the nutrient tank is sunk below ground level. The FlowGrow GFT Growing system has been carefully researched over several years. We have used only quality materials, and have made it easy to set up, and easy to operate and maintain. It comes complete with an operating manual based on our own experiences with this great growing system.
If looked after as recommended, it will give a lifetime of enjoyable, fruitful cultivation. Take a drive out to Crestholme. We are 10 minutes from Hillcrest.
